Media walls create a main centrepiece to combine your home entertainment with style in any home.
With media walls becoming more and more popular, why not get in touch to discuss your needs? Our bespoke media wall installation usually has a large flatscreen TV, either a soundbar or surround sound system, and will house all other AV equipment without a cable in sight. We can also fit integrated fireplaces, shelving or storage cupboards into your wall, finished off with some discrete mood lighting for your needs.
How will you choose to finish your wall?
Plaster and paint or split face tiles are all good options but you may wish to consider fabric walls which are becoming very popular. With a multitude of fabrics to choose from, no interior will get left behind, providing a beautiful contrast to the other walls in your room.
How about a TV room by day and a movie theatre by night?
This can be achieved by installing a recessed projector screen and a projector lift. Hidden away in the ceiling void when not in use but descending at the push of a button giving you the ultimate movie night. If you love movies and watching TV at home, why not have a dedicated home cinema room for the best sound and vision that the whole family or friends can enjoy?
“Phil was absolutely brilliant. He built my media wall and did electrics and lights and also fitted my fire. He gave really good advice, thought of everything and was a true professional. I would thoroughly recommend him. We are so happy.”
Google Review January 2026 – Kathy
“We recently had a media wall setup designed and installed by Phil at Sound Advice, and the whole experience was fantastic from start to finish. What really stood out to us was the design process. Phil didn’t just arrive and start building, he took the time to walk us through every stage of the project. Before cutting into anything or making structural changes, he explained exactly what he was doing, why he was doing it, and what the final outcome would be. It made us feel completely confident in the process and really showed how much care he puts into his work. The attention to detail was exceptional. We chose some timber tiles for the feature wall that were honestly quite difficult to work with, but Phil took the time to carefully break them down and use individual slats so they could be installed neatly behind the TV. It created such a natural, seamless look and you can tell a lot of patience and craftsmanship went into getting that finish just right. Another thing we really appreciated was that Phil was very mindful of budget. He helped source materials at the best possible value and was never trying to upsell unnecessary equipment or push us beyond what we needed. The focus was always on achieving the best result within the budget we were comfortable with. From a build quality perspective, the structure itself is incredibly solid. Phil used proper 40 x 90 framing timber and 70mm screws, rather than the cheaper materials and nail guns that you see used in many quick builds these days. Knowing it’s been constructed properly gives us confidence that this media wall will last for many years to come. The project timeline was also ideal, it wasn’t rushed, but it was completed efficiently, and every stage felt well thought out rather than thrown together. The finished result is stunning. It’s elegant, beautifully built, and has completely transformed the room. It’s honestly added a huge amount of value to our home, and movie nights with our boys now feel like a proper cinema experience. If you’re considering a media wall or home cinema installation, I would absolutely recommend Phil and Sound Advice. His workmanship, transparency, and attention to detail really set him apart.”
